As I was looking through the animal shelter site that I am taking the photographs for, it came to my attention that some of the photographs that I took had been replaced. I have no idea who gave the permission to the person to replace the photographs but I sincerely hope that they person was given permission by the full time staff.
Other than that, I will think that the photographer has absolutely no respect for the work of others. I mean I will be ok if the photographer added his/ her photographs, but he/ she completely removed my work. I think that is absolutely uncalled for and shows the lack of integrity on the part of the other photographer. How would he/ she like it if someone else does it to his/ her work.
Maybe I am just being too nice about it because I will not even replace the photographs by the full time staff simply because I think that I am in no position to do so. I will merely add on my work onto their photographs and allow them to decide if they want to change the photograph on the site. What I am afraid is that the photographs that I thought were taken by the staff are actually taken by another photographer. I do not want to be the unethical jerk to replace the work of another with mine.
