Something that completely sucks about wearing glasses is that you got to pay so much more of a pair of sunglasses. To be precise, you got to pay so much for a pair of prescription sunglasses.
Think the cheapest that I have been quoted so far is about $250 for the lens alone. On top of that, the frame would cost an additional $210 to $250 (for a decent pair). Ok, there may be a discount of around $100 but still, that's a total of close to $400.
Yes, an alternative is wearing contacts, but I do not like the idea on putting a foreign object into my eyes. Anyway, the cost of getting a pair of contacts and maintaining it will also come up to around $250 a year. So the point is that it sucks to be myopic.
