The way the housing agents here work is really pissing me off. Can't believe that they take so long to approve one fucking application. They take so long but they expect us to apply one at a time. Yes, you can't put in multiple applications cos if you do and you're selected, you've to rent all the units. But come on,if they take so long to respond, should prospective tenants be allowed to apply for more than one unit?? Where's the logic?

As much as what people say about Brisbane, I think it's a boring place to be in. Yes, I'm not kidding on that. The shopping is restricted to mainly one place and that's Queen Street Mall, a place that's like Orchard Road but shorter. The shopping centres though are bigger. The consolation is that they're having some massive sale here. Mambo bags are going at under $40. Clothes here can be quite cheap too if they're on sale. Tops can easily be puchased for around $10. Girls will like this place. Mag bought a real pretty dressfor only $10. In Singapore, it'll be considered cheap if it's selling at say $30.

Another thing about Brisbane that I think sucks is that there's hardly any decent camera shops! There's no shop like MS Color or Cathay here! The biggest shop I've seen carries super limited stock! Among the two that I saw, one was stuck up and the other was poor in product knowledge. Come on, when you guys carry so few products, I expect you all to be better verse. The prices here for cameras too are about the same as Singapore but the cards here are way more expensive. The 4GB CF card here cost AUS$&799 and the 1GB cost around AUS$140 to AUS$170.
