Aren't we all in trouble? With 24% of the population sympathising with terorrist, I think that we do have a cause for concern. Yes, the sample size of 520 may not be the most accurate of all but the figure's still worrying.
Talk about geek talk. Don't know how to react to what Brendan said about the contestants he saw at the Canon Photo Marathon. He was in the queue with this bunch of supposed photographers who were trying to guess how many times zoom to the exit sign in front of them. Man, how geek or loser can these people get. It's like two geeks upon seeing the starting of a computer betting on the processor used and the speed of it. Really don't understand these people sia.
You know what event should be in the Olympics? The game which requires the contestants to squeeze on a newspaper, the team with the most number of people on it will win. If there's such an event, Singapore would definitely get gold. No doubts about that. My evidence? Take a ride on the MRT during peak hour. You'll be amazed how people at the door squeeze to allow passengers to alight or board. These people should make their lives easier by just stepping of the train to let others to alight before boarding it again. Maybe there's some secret competition going on; with the winner getting free rides. Maybe.
Every 10 years or so, a new force would rise. No, not in the global international sense. I'm talking about the EPL. I think Man U is now a spent force. They're probably not going to reach their heights in the next few years. I have this feeling that within the next couple of years, they might be relegated. I really don't see how they can pay off their debts so soon. My fear is that they might be the second Leeds. As what some critics say, Man U doesn’t have the depth and strength anymore. They really don't have that amount of world class players in their first team, let alone their bench. Those world class ones are close to their expiry date. In the modern game where a good amount of emphasis is on midfield, Man U's midfield is no longer one that strikes fear in their opponents.
