I hope that they do realise that it's a matter of time before they grow old. They better not hope that people treat them well cos they simply brush them away.
On another note, my train ride to work was quite amusing cos of this lady's sweeping statement during her conversation to her friend. Her son in law is an American and she said in a dismayed tone that he's lazy. She then went on to make the sweeping statement that Caucasians are lazy. Now, this is fascinating cos the western economy is doing much better than ours. So if they are lazy and their economy does well, are we all a bunch of idiots who work our socks off and yet our economy is not as good as theirs?
There's this shop at Funan that's just plain dishonest. They were trying to sell me this cam bag for $250. The guy initially wanted to charge me $300+, but think he saw my bemused face when I saw the price tag so he immediately said that there's a 30% discount and that it'll cost $250. I gave him this 'you think I'm stupid look' and told him that I didn't want. Immediately he told me to quote the price I was willing to pay. That fucker think I'm stupid or no what? Cathay's only selling the bag at $150 and it's probably the most expensive so far. Talk about dishonesty.
