I think that we humans are just mad/ We go around thinking that this world owe us and that we are the almighty creature that has the right to do anything to animals. We have to learn that this world owe us nothing and that all the animals have the same amount of right to this world as us.
Was absolutely disgusted when I saw the documentary that showed the bears being milked for their bile and gall. Can you imagine putting the poor bears into cages that are so small that they can hardly even stand.
To make things worse, they will stick metal tubes into the bears in order to milk them. I guess that is probably the less cruel way. There are even cases where the "farmers" will cut open the part at the abdominal area in order to milk the bear.

Not only do we subject these poor bears to such pain. In order to get the young of animals like monkeys and bears to sell, poachers will shoot the mother inthe trees before tearing the baby from the mother. Is this how low the "supreme" animal is supposed to do? If that's the case, than any superpower should have this right to treat any other country. No one should complain.
It's the same as killing the wild animals who attack humans. Animals are unlikely to kill humans unless we enter their territory. Would we not also fight when a stranger enter our house? If so, why is it wrong for the animal to take action when humans enter the homes? Animals are less capable to reason than humans and I sometimes really wonder which is the one that needs to be educated.
Also, same on those movie makers who make movies that depict animals in a bad light. Is the shark or snake really as vicious as movies depict it to be? It is known that sharks are very curious creatures and the supposed attacks are more often than not the shark trying to know what this strange creature that's in their waters is. You do have to realise that they do not have hands or feet so the only way they an explore is through their mouth. I know this may sound childish to some, but do your research, it's true.

I now know why Ararat is such an acclaimed movie. It has been a very long time since I caught such a captivating show. To start, the shots were amazing.
The story too is just wow. Really makes you wonder if the Armenian genocide really did happen. There are several scenes that really stand out. There was one scene that had the actor shouting out to the person who cut through the set to while the shoot was going on. He told the person off by relating the entire incident to what the show he was in was about. The link was just seemless. It also kind of sums up the attrocities of the Armenian genocide,
"This child is bleeding to death. If I can save his life, it may give us the spirit to continue. This is his brother. His pregnant sister was raped in front of is eyes before her stomach was slashed open to stab her unborn child. His father's eyes were gouged out of his head and stuffed into his mouth. And his mother's breast were ripped off. She was left to bleed to death. Who the fuck are you?"
The was no visual to that but one of the ending scenes was even more haunting. The visual of a mother being raped while holding on to her child. Innocence and evil. Yup, Ararat is that raw. The story too has many under tones in it. How a person would struggle to learn the truth and risk all.
On a completely different note, must say that I'm very impressed with Esplanade. The feel of the place now is really impressive. Especially the outdoor area where they are holding Mosiac. It's really something that eill impress tourists. Kudos to them.
