Happy sia. Lost about 5 kg over the past month! Not snacking and stop eating when full has worked wonders! Haha. Never really expected to lose so much weight, thought I'll just lose about a couple of kilos but hey, anything more is a bonus.

Seems like Friday was yesterday. The weekend just passed by so fast. Not really fully rested. But its better than no rest at all. Welcome to the mad weeks ahead, with all the pending deadlines, stress levels is going to surge!

Martine McCutcheon aka Natalie in Love Actually. Thought she looked good in this picture.

Hopman Cup final was a wow! What a way for a final to go. Both teams entering the final match tied a match each and that's after a totally absorbing second match. A match which saw both players hitting the ball between their legs in one set for a point! Yea, that happened at the end of the second set when James Blake forced Karol Kucera to hit the ball between his legs and Kucera did the same! Simply amazing. The first and last match though maybe rather lop sided but it still produced some really exciting and interesting moments. Like the third match where Daniela Hantuchova executed some delightful drop shots. The best was her back hand drop shot, it was such a lovely piece of skill. The successive volleys too were superb. US won also in stunning fashion with Blake aceing think the last two or three balls! Yea, I did not expect the finals to turn out so good cos the Slovaks were only playing cos Australia withdrew due to injury, but what a final it was! Such determination and grit, such professionalism. By the looks of things, this year's Aussie Open is going to be an exciting event. Watch out for James Blake, he's beginning to look like the player he was slated to be. Lindsay Davenport too. Back for injury in the best possible way.

Realised too that sponsors too can be quite bias. Take a look at how some of the women are dressed, it kind of tell it all. Russia's Anastasia Myskina, US's Lindsay Davenport and Slovak's Daniela Hantuchova are all sponsored by Nike but look at how much their clothings deferred!

Anastasia Myskina

Lindsay Davenport

Daniela Hantuchova

The worthy winners

Runners up but no shame at all

The girls Dragon Dance group was a fucking disappointment. The girls were performing in halters and tube tops! What to expect, they are the ABC girls.

Happy after watching another match of the Hopman Cup. Been super addicted to it and have been trying to catch as many matches as possible. Special mention to Czech Republic's Barbora Strycova. She's been a delight to watch. Yea, she lost allher games but hey, she's only going to be 18 this year. Currently ranked at her highest now at 139 but think that's a small reflection of the talent she has. Don't think she'll ever reach the heights of the Williams sisters, Hingis etc. Ok, she may not even ever enter the top 10 but that does not make her any less of a good player. But with a combination of hard work and luck, you never know. Got this feeling she can be another Jelena Dokic or Anastasia Myskina. Guess the main thing that makes her stand out is her on court antics. Throwing tantrums etc. How often do we actually see a player throw her racquet more than once on court out of frustration and yet does it in such a cute manner. She did it alright. The commentators said it well, she is a sure delight to watch but if she makes it a habit, she'll begin to lose some fans. At this point guess she can be forgiven cos think the Hopman Cup is one of her first matches on the tour. O yah, she was last year's Australian Open and Wimbledon Jrs winner for singles and doubles respectively.

Pat Rafter is back! Ok not at least in singles but in doubles. Though he lost his comeback game but hey, with a talent like that, its bound to be good. Never write off Pat Rafter!

Greg Rusedski is tested positive for nandrolone, but I firmly believe that he did not deliberately take it. Come on even though his form has been down but I still think that he's not a person will resort to drugs to enhance his game.
