blue and white dream

I just realised that Maurizio Ganz is still playing! And not to mention in Serie A for Ancona. K, Ancona may not be the top few teams, heck, they are currently second from the bottom but its nice to see him still playing in the top flight. Man, Ancona has a super old strike force sia. Along with Dario Hubner, they have a combined age of over 70. up, just two players and they are over 70. Italy sure has stil lots of players whom many countries will deem 'expired'. Look at Roberto Baggio, he's 36 and still playing. The 'divine ponytail' will certinly always have a special place in most football fan's hearts. At this point, he has just scored a goal against Ancona. Wow, old but still proving that they have what it takes. Another evergreen player in Italy is yup, Gianfranco Zola, but than he's playing for Cagliari. But at 37 and playing at Serie B, man, that guy is good.

What is it I'm reading? Batigol is thinking of a return to Fiorentina?? Haha!!!!!!!! Yea yea. He hinted n an interview that he might return there after all, after his stint at Qatar that is. How beautiful will that be?? How fitting that a true king return back to his throne? If he really comes back, it will be nice also if he can lead the Viola to yet another promotion. How fitting will that be? A king returns to his land and brings his country to where they truely deserve to be.

Speaking from the headquarters of his new club Al-Arabi, legendary Argentine striker Gabriel Batistuta admitted that he is still harbours dreams of returning to Fiorentina one day.

"First of all I have to see the behaviour of my knee during this experience in Qatar, where I have signed a two seasons contract that could be reduced to 12 months, and then I would see what role I could have at Fiorentina.

"Florence is a city that I like very much," Batigol continued. "It is city that is close to my heart and the same counts for all of my family. In addition to that, I will be having another son soon, so we will decide."

Yesterday's mass was power sia. Been quite a while since a high mass so it's been erm, refreshing? Haha, but always enjoyed high masses. It may be longer than usual but the way it feels is simply amazing. Its so fast too, yesterday was the Feast of Christ the King, meaning also that its the end of another year in the Catholic Church.

Went to meet Wil for dinner after mass. Been quite a while since I met him cos our good friend went up the mountain to gain enlightenment. Haha. Played pool after the makan or should I say get thrashed. I wonder if he was really up the mountain or somewhere playing pool sia. He seemed to have improved a lot sia. Before he went to army he was already good but than ever since he went to army he had been improved even more. All these must be credited to SAF's Spec's mess. Even after ORD he still improving. Maybe it was the ICT. Or what is it Wil?

Was supposed to play mahjong today but in the end only got Elwin and me cos Wil decided to go Sentosa instead to soak up the sea, sand and we know what. Haha. Shiyi also could not make it. Seems like never fated to play with her, when she's free we are not vice versa. One of these days must really play. As what Elwin mentioned, must wait for our dear Brother B. So B ge touched a not? We are waiting for your exams to end k. Must be don't have your presence that's why we can never get enough players. O yah, Wil mentioned yesterday too, wait till you and Joseph's exams to end than we can all go to go for a good drink.

Was quite surprised by the trailer for the Community Chest. They mentioned that we had to donate sp as to give give the handicapped dignity. Since when has money got to do with dignity. I firmly believe there are rich people out there who have no dignity and poor people who have dignity. That simply proves that money does not equal dignity. How what those people we read often that rush with the poor for donations etc. People who drive luxury cars and yet fight for donations meant for the poor. So where is the fucking dignity of these fuckers. Can someone tell me? Than what about those whom society regards as poor but still refuse to take money from charity because they feel that they can still manage and do not want the money. Well, those people have proved to us that you need not money to have dignity.

A brilliant show. That was the opnly thing on Peijun and my mind after the show. Man, 'Le Papillon' was really so heart warming. Yup, the last two French shows we caught in the past week were really good. Another must watch guys. Elwin, go catch it!

Caught it at Cine's new theatres at the fourth floor. They were smaller than the sixth floor ones and the back rests of the chairs were lower so it was not as comfy as those above but still not too bad. A big problem were the lights! Those lights that come on after the show. Usually what they do is to turn on only the theatre lights but at those theatres, they immediately turn on the spot lights. It was quite funny when they did it cos the audiences immediately turn away from the lights at the same time and some grumbles could be heard.

Saw a lot of NP and MCM people yesterday at Orchard. It's amazing that MCMers seem to be everywhere. Think going to just slack at home today and maybe go meet Wil tonight or if Elwin can, play mahjong.

What a sight. Is this going to be the end of his career? Is the 'King of Pop' finally popped?

Maybe this is the sight that you have been yearning for.
Maybe this is what you have been dreaming of.
Maybe this is what you have been taught.
Maybe this is your idea of fun.
Maybe you are just sick.

It is just totally sick.
How can you ever consider something like this as heroic?
How can you ever say that they deserve it?
How can you ever say that its the price they have to pay for freedom? When its for your own selfish pleasures.
How can you say its for the better when they are going through so much suffering?

Please do not tell me that its called martyrdom.
Please do not tarnish your religion.
Please do not use something so beautiful to cover evil.

Are you able to look into the eyes of their children and tell them they deserved it?
Are you able to look into the eyes of their parents and tell them they deserved it?
Are you able to look into the eyes of his pregnant wife and tell her he deserved it?
I think you can; beacuse you are sick.

What they are seraching for, we will search with them.
What you are searching for, we will neaver search with you.

Her pain we feel.
Your "pain", your so called "pain", you deserve.

This smoke you caused will not bringing you to heaven.
It's smoke that tells Him of your evil.
It's smoke that will bring tears to Him.

Wow, the Dutch had a convincing victory over Soctland. Convincing will not do them justice; they taught Scotland a lesson in soccer. The sleeping giants have finally awaken Dick Advocaat has finally using the correct head to think. He did the smart choice of playing van Nistelrooy as the target man. It paid handsomely with van Nistelrooy completing a hat trick. Kluivert also rightfully started on the bench. He made some remarks about he and van Nistelrooy should not start together as they were not effective playing together. Man, how right he is. He should start on the bench and van Nistelrooy play.

Obviously that was not the line up he expected. He meant that he should start instead of van Nistelrooy, but come on, Kluivert is struggling at Barcelona in both Spain and Europe while van Nistelrooy is performing so much better domestically and in Europe so it will really take an idiot to pick who will be starting for Holland.

Another stunning result was Turkey being knocked out by the unfaniced Latvia. Goal of the playoffs is probably Spain's third (in a cruel manner that is). Norway's keeper Espen Johnsen attempted to clear a ball and kicked it straight at Spain's Joseba Etxeberria. It hit Etxeberria on the head and flew straight into the net.

A day about to pass. Well, almost at least. Went to school today to get the grades for the newspaper project. Went to give her moral support but she did not need it. Haha.

Than went to Karu's Curry for lunch. That place was featured by Makansutra so decided to give it a try. Yup, it was worthy of the "Die die must try" rating. Unlike some more famous curry fish head, their was fresh and the fish head was hot. Usually its only the curry that's hot but at Karu's its the fish head that is hot too. Another plus point its the Teh Ais. It's good there too. Got to add that most Indian and Malay stalls' Teh Ais is power but at Karu's its better still.

Wonder what I'm going to do tomorrow. Man, can't wait for Jo's exams to end. Miss going out with her. Prob got to entertain myself again tomorrow. Haha.

Just came home from watching Fanfan La Tulipe. Man, for all of you who have yet to catch it, do catch it. You'll definitely not regret watching it. It's super funny, something like a cartoon but no cartoon characters. The antics in the show is just super funny. Magnificant, simply magnificant. No wonder it was the opening show for this year's Cannes Film Fest.

Caught the show with Peijun. Been about a month or so since I last saw her. Well, she's super busy, unlike me. Haha. Glad to meet her again, its always nice to hang out with someone who has quite a number of similarities with you. Went to makan with her after the show at Lao Pa Sat. Usual fare, satay and bee hoon goreng. Simple fare but as usual, its good. Added bonus is also the great company with the food. Yup, its all a pleasure.

Probably going to bump around for the next few days. Don't know what to do, so if you all got any plans, call me. Haha.

Happy that I bought the "Bowling for Columbine" VCD. Yea! It was a steal at HMV considering it was $12.95. Almost bought it Borders for $16.95. Haha, yea sound so aunty but come on, I'm bored! Haha. Watched it yesterday and was like wow, its a super show. Considering I was watching it for the second time and can say that, it has to be good.

Was just going around blogs and stumbled upon Vicky's blog. Realised that she's attached to Adam. Those of you who do not know, they are Year Ones. Penn, Yah Yah and Melly, Vicky is the girl from J Lo's class who reacted funnily when J Lo said that OP was a kid's brand; from Alisa's class. Adam's the problematic or at least seemingly problematic guy from Kon's class. The guy who keeps bugging me over my notes, to an extend that I kind of snap at him. Haha, so you guys now know why I have quite a bad impression of Adam. Man, I wonder what she sees in him, he seems to be taking her for granted etc. Haha, really a case of you know how the Chinese saying goes.
