I realised that whenever I sleep late or something like that I can get pretty moody. Yup, and playing moody music just is not helping! Haha. O well, the beautiful irony that life just offers. I decided also not to remove my external hard disk again. That fucking device takes so long just to install. Was supposed to pass to Yah Yah something from there but it just hang my entire comp. Spent about 15-30 min just to fix it. Man, listening to Kelly Chen's Ji Shi Ben and got to say everytime I hear that song, I just continue to love it. On of the other Chinese songs that I really like is Zhao Chuan Shen Hai. It was the soundtrack of the one of the old Ch8 shows starring Terence Chao. These days they simply just don't make music the way they used too. I miss the early 90s!! But I got this feeling that by 2010, while watching Singapore playing in the World Cup, I'll look back and wish it was still 2003. Haha, if only Singapore can reach the World Cup.
I could not help but agree with CheeK that Singaporeans on the whole down play local productions. I cannot commend that much cos I've not been catching much local productions for quite a while. But my excuse will prob be that I will not slam local productions even though I do not always support it by catching them. I do agree that Jack Neo's work may not always be so exportable but I must say that he is working slowly to change Singaporeans perception of local productions. The crowd that he can draw has been very encouraging. Kudos to you Jack! Thanks for using the parang to crave out a path for us to walk. Does anyone out there still have not caught Homerun and want to?
Today's papers had some interesting articles and finally found out how the authorities go after those people who download big time. They view via the file transfer. That means that if the person just downloads an mp3 a day or so, odds of being caught is almost as good as 0. One will be safe is he or she does not download in huge amounts. Just keep the file transfer small. It seems that way at least from what I understand. The papers also wrote about what JY was saying about that child rapist. Guess the reason why they did not warn the residence was quite valid. In order not to alarm the rapist. Guess to a certain it seems as if the police were setting up a trap with live unwitting baits. Thankfully that fucker was caught. I think he shoudl not be jailed and caned. He should be skinned alive, have vinegar mixed with salt rubbed all over him with a sand lined sponge. Than he should be hung upside down from his testicles or penis. From that position he ought to be whipped with a whip soaked in horse urine. The finishing touch is to slice off his flesh piece by piece. But than that may not be enough compensation for all the pain and torture his victims and family members went through.
Tonight Manchester City versus Aston Villa. City has prob one of the strongest strike force in England and Europe, if the best can be brought out. Nicolas Anelka with Robbie Fowler. What more can you ask for. Fowler has been a pale shadow of his former self. If only he can regain his former self and not fall by the wayside. Had he been the player he used to be, today England's hope will not be shoulder be shouldered by Owen and Beckham, but on Fowler. Such an immensely talented player who is more than capable of taking any team, the most natural striker that probabaly England ever had but look at him now! I really hope that he will not join the ranks of Paul Gascoigne, the most gifted player that England probably ever had in recent times and maybe the top five player ever to wear the England jersey in her history. Look at Gascoigne now, he is more of a burden and a gift. He has tried to make comebacks back none has been successful. He went to China second division, yes second division but left on very bad terms! Now, on club want him. He will best be remembered as the young player who shed the tears of his country during England's World Cup exit in 1990, the tears that were probably for his future too. Tears of a star and genius that never was.
