Met Elwin, Jop, Wil, Eligin and Clarence last night to celebrate Elgin's birthday. We spent like about half an hour on where to go. Decided to go to either Buzz at Boat Quay or Zouk. Our intention was just to drink and not club so we set off in two cars. Quite cool especially when we had another meeting on where to go. We just stopped by the roadside and all seven came out of the car, like in some movie. Ok, Clarence needed to be "coaxed" out of the car. Decided than to go to Altivo. Had a rather hard time finding a good parking lot. But when we were there, got to say that Altivo really lived up to a place with a very nice view. It over looks the entire Mt Faber, Habourfront and Sentosa. Quite pack too but the crowd was either couples or the yuppies. Think we were prob the youngest people there. Any way we had lots of fun talking cock and just hanging out. Elgin, you better be touched!
Went to meet Penn, Yah Yah and JY today at BK for our Comm Iss project. Meeting was ok and we decided to go shopping. Again, I had a "lesson" on shopping with women. Penn was trying to tell me the difference between loose powder and compact. Never knew there were so much to know about make up etc. Was asking lots of questions about almost everythingt. Yes, it was like Greek to me. Wanted to donate to the Tulips Heart day but not fated. Haha.
Went to Novena's annual procession. As usual it was a grand affair with according to Father Simon 35, 000 people attending. Think the crowd was lesser than usual and my theory is that some people are afraid that terrorist might strike. O well, that's just me. Got this theory that this week may be the most testing week for the world. Back to the procession, twice I was holding back tears as I suddenly felt so touched. Something just overwhelmed me and I strongly believe it was Him and Mother Mary. The first reading really struck me, it has been a reading that was always very special to me. Something just intrigues me about it.
Back to school tomorrow and harlow mad rush!!

That was werid. When I entered Blogger, I was in some other person's account! How weird.
Wanted to meet Elwin, Willie, Joseph and Jopie today for dinner but did not meet in the end. Man. Really hope to catch up with them some time.
Went to Comex again, this time with my parents and guess who I saw. Geraldine! She was modelling for think Cannon. That digicam with Fiona Xie modelling for them. Saw quite a few people. Saw Shiyi too, been quite a while since I last saw her, but didn't get to say hi to her.
Last two days of hols. Must try my best to enjoy.

At last, a coach that is very frank. No, I'm not talking about the coaches of those European clubs but our very own national coach. This was from today's ST,
"For the first time in his new job, Avramovic lost his temper last night as he seethed in anger over Singapore's 1-3 defeat by Kuwait in the opening match of the Asian Cup Group B qualifying round at the National Stadium.
As he mouthed the inevitable: 'I'm angry every time I lose. But this time, I've very disappointed as well. The players did not do the things I wanted them to do for most of the game. That is why we lost.'"... "As Avramovic said: 'Take the second and third goals, when we had an extra man. Instead of keeping possession, they kept on trying to attack and lost the ball instead.
'Then Kuwait hit us on the break and scored twice. That did not need to happen. Our players must learn that a match lasts 90 minutes.

Now that's the best in how frank he is. Indeed, finally some coach is willing to voice out what local fans feel. Yup, our national team is just playing crappy soccer. Using little or no brains and sure unorganised football. Forget 2010, just try to conquer Asean by 2010. Screw tghe 2010 World Cup dream. But must say that I've got to take my words back on one player and that's Ahmad Latiff Khamaruddin. Still remember just a couple of years back when I was so hoping that he will be banished completely from the national team. You see, the than Admad Latiff was a completely hopeless ill disciplined footballer. But alas, he has curbed that side of him and has blossomed into a player that the entire nation had hoped for and expected. So hopefully he will continue his "road to recovery" and not again fall by the wayside.
Euro qualifers this weekend till next week, Italy will be facing a simple task by right but with the resurgence of Wales, it may not be so simple. Who would have thought that Wales beat Italy and top the table. I admit that I expected Italy to struggle in this qualifers simply because their opposition seems too weak. yes, that's the Italians for you. Put them in a group with Germany, Holland and France and they will cruise through, but put them in an easy group and they will stumble. Just like the last World Cup, I expected them to finish the group with 4 points and losing to Croatia and they did. Why? Because I'm a guru? No! Haha, actually its because if you see how Italy plays, you'll fully understand. They some how will stumble to teams that seem weak but have potential, teams like Croatia and Australia etc. But I never expected them to fall to South Korea. Expected them to meet Argentina in the finals with one of them winning by the odd goal. My predictions for this match? Italy to win by the odd goal.

Arh. A satisfying dinner. Haha. Went to Phines at Liang Seah Street for dinner with Jo. Food there was good and the place had a very cosy feel, so pretty much enjoyed the meal. Went to walk around and dropped by at Comex, quite pack the place and had quite a number of people buying stuff. Its amazing that after so many fairs, there are still so many people buying stuff. As Jo said, its computer and technology keeps changing. A good day of rest tomorrow or so I hope.

A day spending doing not sure what too. Went to school for PR but think did not leave the place being mroe well informed or anything like that. All I know is that grapevine is NOT a PR tool. Went to lunch with Yah Yah and JY and than spend the time waking around. Was supposed to catch SWAT with Godma but she had a headache so we did not meet. Was at J8 just now and met Ah Fred with Becky. Man, been so long since I last met her. While going back there was a big crowd outside Converse and it seems as though a guy was slapped and his mother was there creating a scene. O well, PR again tomorrow. Arghz.
