This is so irritating. There are so many shows I want to catch but it will cost a bomb to catch them all. So many fantastic and brillant shows are going or are being screened now!! Arghz!!

That was real fast. In a blink of an eye, my highlights of this holiday are over; chalet than Boozie Nite. Boozie Nite was ok. Lots of drinks and crap. Just sat there playing dai di and Indian Poker. Sadly we did not managed to get Elgin to hug the toilet bowl. At least I managed to get a picture of my foot on top of him. Haha. He is going to be shocked. Maybe I should get the picture from Willie and post it here or maybe put it in my Kaaz shared folder with it labelled as Singapore drunk slutty boy. Haha. Left Swissotel around 6.30 this morning to come back and sleep. O yah. There we saw 3 guys and 2 girls at the lobby and they were all super good looking. 1 of the guys was Utt pattern but much better looking. With his floppy hair and all. We were saying that those those go into a club all the girls will just melt. No doubts about that. The girls too. Sure will make guys turn their heads and drool. Was quite surprised that Swissotel had quite a handful of guest. Saw lots of British Airway cabin crew and pilots. O well. Around 4+ am, went out with Joseph and Willie to makan at the S11 next to the national library. Than walked to 7-11 before going back to the hotel. Sat at the balcony and was having a real good talk with the 2 of them. When Willie was bathing, Joseph and I talked about our past relationship, church, friends, betryal and all. It was so uplifting and refreshing, sitting there, looking at the world below you and just chatting. Felt so out of this world.
Was checking my email and came across this email from my friend Dawn. Been so long since I met her. Were classmates during the 1st 3 months and schoolmates during JC. She was a real nice girl who had journalist qualities. She could write very well and was very knowledgable. It was always a delight to chat with her. Still remember sitting outside her class during JC and talking. Wow, that was so long ago. Well, she emailed about the culling of animals with regards to SARS and I really agree with her that it was so unjustified. Btw, she wrote about it in the Straits Times a few days back. Amazing how animals are the victims of our own wrongs.
UN is making waves again. This time it is about the treatment of refugees in refugee camps. Instead of giving the refugees a safe refuge at the camps, those beasts are sexually abusing the females there and that includes rape. All the long I thought that among all the useless things UN does, providing humanitarian aid was better than the rest. Never knew that even that they suck that bad. As I always say, it is so damn ironic that a force, organisation that is as useless as UN is so needed by the world. Ask me anytime on how I view UN and will tell you lots if negative things. Ask me again if I feel that UN should be abolished and I will tell you NO! Why? Simply because the world cannot live without them. Chaos will erupt and hell will really break loose. UN is sadly a deterent to many rouge states as their word can sway the international community to act.
Al Qaeda developing sophisticated germ warfare? I really hope that they will never ever succeed. If they do, I dare not imagine what will happen to this world. All that we have fought for will be lost and many innocent will perish. Apparently China and Russia are selling them the stuff required. I know its probably not the govenment but the citizens. Its amazing how selfish people are and how greed can make them do things that they very well know will do more harm than good. Those fuckwits are putting the world in danger just for their own survival I have long belived that Man's greatest downfall is greed and lust. Look back in history and you can see that in almost all cases, Man have fallen due to those 2 vices.

Came back not that long ago. Reach home around noon but met my parents on my way back and joined them for lunch. Yes, less than two hours after my breakfast. Haha. Going for Boozie Nite III later. Quite tired but yea, got to go. Got to give Elgin face. In 12 hours time, my body is going to be run by alcohol. It will be flowing through my vains. Heard they are going to make Long Island.
Chalet was fun. Though only 10 of us went but still it was a whole great deal of fun. Yes, it was hot and all but still, I rather it be hot than raining. Met Brian, Melly, Kengz and Poh Ling to buy the bbq stuff at Bedok. Amazingly we exceeded our budget by just a bit. Shopping on a budget is rather challenging and fun especially in a big group. Tried to play volleyball on the first day but gave up after a while. Went to dip in the sea with Brian, Yah Yah and Poh Ling instead. The sea was like not that clean but haha, who cares. Nothing beats a cool dip in the sea. Went to the food centre near Parkway to have dinner. Had the supposedly famous char kwat teow there. It was so so. Went play pool with Bern and Joy after that. 1 word to describe the place. Super. They balls were super shiny and well kept probably cos they had a ball cleaner there and the balls are cleaned the moment they are returned. The house cues were 2 piece cues and very evry well kept! I was impressed. Poh Ling wanted to buy durian at Giant but by the time we reached there, there wasn't any there. She settled for ice cream instead. Think I saw Peifen there. From the looks of it, she seems married. Very surprised by it. My schoolmate, my age married. I know its quite ok my age but still, it was quite a shock. Merv came over to tell ghost stories that night or should I say early Friday morning. Ok, Melly and I did not really welcome that 1 bit.
Second day woke up quite late to Nissin instant noodles. Yupz, my cheap after clubbing supper. Haha. Went to deep in the sea again with Yah Yah, Keng and Brian cos of the weather. Came back and my dearest little sister came. Damn it, i really missed her. Went with her and Brian cycling while the rest went to play CS and bowl. Yah Yah and Keng stayed behind at the chalet. Came back to prepare the bbq. Starting the fire was easy but the heat was a killer. Not fun when the sun was blazing and pit was burning. Prepared the food with the rest when they all came back. Must say that it was so nice to see everyone helping out in the preparationg of the bbq. Usually in most chalets that I've been, there would be slackers sitting around doing nothing while others were busy preparing food and all. A great thanks to Yah Yah and her mum for preparing the delicious fish and chicken wings. Bbq was quite a "family" affair. Sitting around and talking cock etc. After that went with Penny and Yah Yah to buy beer while Joy, Bern, Melly and Bern went to play CS with a few guys from the other cohort. We at by the beach on the way back to enjoy the breeze and the stars. When we came back, we were quite impressed by the chalet opposite ours. They were dancing! Not the clubbing sort but the grander sort. What's it called again? Jive? Don't know what is it called but its the more contempory sort. Those you watch in like Kate and Leopold.
Day three. Wole up at 8.30 to pack up before we all checked out at 9.45 to go to Bedok Macs to have breakfast.
Sheesh. Running late, going to church than to meet Elwin and Jospeh for dinner before going to Swissotel The Stamford for Boozie Night III!

Just came back from a superb buffet. Yup. That means I have put on more weight. Was at Cat High today and was very surprised that my English teacher can not only remember my name but also my class. Wow. School's under lots of renovation and the boys are super good. Like follow all the rules and all. Impressive. My teacher kept insisting that I sign up for relief teaching and so I did. Hopefully they'll call me up within the next two weeks. $65 a day. Not bad. Or maybe when the school renovation is completed, I go back and help out in doing up the library. I don't mind that too. Going out to buy books etc, not that bad. Think the last time I was offered that job was also $65 a day. Too bad than I was on crutches and could not take it up. The books supplier came today and helped my teacher pick some books to recommend for the library. Mainly those motivating books like Chicken Soul type of books. Best part is that most of the books are motivational but doe not seems like it the first glance. They are written in a traveller's context. Hope the books will be approved by the school cos I think those books will really interest the boys. Hope got enogh money for that to happen. Cos of the econmic crisis, the library funds have ben cut. When I was there, the library had too much money, so much that we did not know how to spend it. So what we did? Changed all the shelves. The old ones were like around 5 years old? Heard that the condition of the shelves have now dropped but time and is time to change again. Problem is that there is insufficient fund to do so. Sheesh. How ironic and sad. Well, chalet is tomorrow and hope that we will all have a great time. What hope? I'm sure we would! So until tomorrow!!

Just came back from celebrating Brian's birthday. Went with Brian, Yah Yah, Melly, Mitch, Keng and Jon Jon to have murtabak. We bought him a pair of sunsglasses and a Parker pen that comes with a nice keychain. Before that, met Melly to get the gift and I was super attracted to model helicopters. Must be in my blood but I'm super tempted to buy an Apache and Blackhawk. It was always my dream to complete models but never really had the will. Did an F-14 when was younger but that was about it. Since on hols now maybe should go do it. My dad is an expert in making them and he used to build lots of them when he was about my age. So since I got an expert to help me than yea. maybe should really do at least 1.
Going back to Cat High tomorrow. Yea. Quite miss my secondary school teachers especially my form teacher. Last met her was during Chinese New Year when a few of us went to her place to visit her. So yea. Tomorrow will go back again. Haha.

US disapproves of Indonesia attacking the Aceh rebels aka GAM. They claim that both parties did not fully exhaust all possible diplomatic talks. That's a problem with the Bush Administration isn't it? It is really quite ironic that they are the ones saying it. Simply because in recent times, they are the only country to have used a pre-emptive strike. It's not that I'm against them or anything but i feel that the words they have used for this situation have been very badly chosen.
A disappointing note is that terrorism and sucide bombings are in fashion again. So many attacks over the past few days. Why must all these happen? You mean violence can solve all things? By killing others in such petty ways can help you gain true support and respect? If you want to change a system, challenge the government and leave the innocent people alone. Since you are so incapable of even having a diplomatic talk, since you only want to solve and gratify your own selfish thoughts, please do not expect the world community to pity on your damned soul. You infidel cowards.

Wanted to blog about this for a very long time but just did not. Glenn and Rod joining the Morning Express?? Sheesh. Heard it today and I got only 1 word - sucks. It really sucks. There is absolutely no chemistry. What is Mediacorp Radio doing? Trying to destroy the Morning Express. Waking up to those 2 idiots everyday isn't exactly the kind of stuff I want. Or are they trying to help The Brudders kick start their careers again? When Joe Augustine left, they broke a super combination. But FD, Vernon A and Maggie are not that bad either. They are super perky and have chemistry. But now with those 2 jokers. Sheesh. They really sounded very flat. I really hope there will be some chemistry soon. If not than Mediacorp Radio should just kick those 2 off and save the agony of listeners.

Things required for the chalet. Does anyone out there have?
- Ice box to put drinks
- Any games you people want to bring? Like volleyball, board games etc
- Speakers?
- Radio/ discman/ MD whatever
- Any particular cd
Any suggestions for food? So far we've only got stingray and chicken wings for our BBQ.
- Satay?
- Potato?
- Hotdog?
Yah Yah. Is it possible we take the food from your place on Friday? If cannot than nevermind, we'll take it on Thursday but you don't need to meet us at Bedok MRT Station control at 11. Some of us will go down to your place to pick up the food.
So far that is all I can think of. Have I left anything out? O yah, thought of calling along Ms Kuan and Ms Thomas for the BBQ. Any suggestions? Anyone more lecturers you all want to call?

Screwed up all my default fonts last night. My fonts on ICQ was totally screwed. Some cursive fonts making all my contacts look so small that I can hardly see. Had to download ICQ lite so that I can see my contacts properly again. Anyone kind soul out there can teach me how to restore to my original fonts?? Please?
Ms Singapore Universe is having problems finding sponsor. Reason? Sponsors don't se themselves benefitting from sponsoring. Cannot believe that Singaporeans have gone to a stage where money matters so much over national pride. Understand that they may not stand to gain anything by sponsoring but would they not feel national pride? Maybe now national pride is calculated in dollars and cents. I think the only way for sponsorship to flow is like our government speak up about how sad the situation is, than those bootlicking companies will start sponsoring and say they feel so honoured to be able to sponsor such an event. Something like the SARS thingy. I really wonder if our government had not stepped in and tell Singaporeans that they should actually appreciate the healthcare workers and not shun them, would we have all these events thanking healthcare workers. I cannot help but feel paranoid about it all. Suddenly after the government open their mouth, companies everywhere started promoting and posting articles and advertisements on how noble our healthcare workers are. But right smack somewhere in a very obvious position, we see the company's name.
Even the interviews made with parishioners of the church where the first SARS patient was from claimed that the entire church sympathise with her and all. How much they love her etc on TV makes me wonder how true they all are. Those of us who have been involved in church activities will know how many hypocrites you can find in church. Backstabbing is quite a common affairs and so is gossiping. The irony is that people do church work not for His glory but for personal glory. Not all of them are like this of course but there are still about a handful of rotten eggs. You can see how people are nice to you when you are still of use or in that group. The moment you leave it, you a both are like strangers. Wait, maybe you feel closer to strangers than them. Yes, it can be that bad. But do I regret going to church still? NO! Though I have been hurt by people there and by some who are supposedly my very good friends, I still do not regret going to church. Why? Simply because I go to church for Him.
