Singapore is no longer SARS free. WHO has got some details to finalise and Singapore has got a person who just got infected. Though it will be nice to be declared SARS free, I feel that kudos should go to our government for putting to light a new infection just hours before we can be declared SARS free. Unlike some countries will and are probably covering the figures, our government has been very open about it. Crucial few moments and yet allowing to drop the bomb shell. That is something very brave to do. It will definitely instill trust in our countryin future. Even in the light of would be economic repercussions, Singapore is still willing to allow truth to prevail. Kudos once again.

Just found out that Warcraft has come up with two more versions since Reign of Chaos. Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and World of Warcraft. Arghz. I'm so behind!! The Frozen Throne is an expansion and World of Warcraft is supposedly an online gamer's dream. Fuckers want to charge a fee to play it online and that excludes buying the game.

Arsenal 1 Southampton 0. So the fairytale ends again. Sheesh.

Devon Aoki. Ok she's doing Asia proud no doubts about it, but she's still not pure Asian. Eurasian more like it. But you mean that pure Asians are not good enough? We need some Western blood to make it? Think Sunday Life is making too big a fuss about it.

Seems like terrorism is making its face again. What's wrong with these people? Attacking people in countries of their own faith. They want to overthrow the government who supports the West in particular US? Hmm. Overthrowing a governement whose views defer from them. Sounds very familiar doesn't it? Countries that oppose us will face sanctions. Seems to me like those so called freedom fighters are no better than those they want freedom from. Dumb fucks. Too much time on hand.

Went out with my buddies to watch Matrix Reloaded last night. It was super good. Writt deja vu. Had a super great time with the guys too and enjoyed every single minute. Went to Bugis before the show to play arcade. At least Elwin and Joseph played. Wings, Elgin and I just slacked around and we were saying that the games at the arcade looks so foreign to us. Wings and I were quite impressed by the people playing Para Para. They danced with so much passion and vigour. Quite surprised by it. Went to Cine after that cos our show was there. Played a bit of pool with Wings, Willie and Elgin. Together with Jopie we were like joking about everything. Than the show. As I said, all I can say is that the show was good and the special effects were... wow! Makaned at River Valley after the show and saw Charmaine Han and this MTV host there. Man, they were super good looking and Charmaine can really really carry herself. So much style and elegance. Reached home around 5am. Woke up at 10 to my mum's complain. She claims that I'm mixing with bad company. While in school, mix with people who don't study thus I never study and holiday? Mix with people who hang out so late so I come back so late. Can't be bothered anymore with how they think. My parents think I'm like some super rebel. Believe me, my parents have a bad impression of me. So ironic that my friends know me so much better than my parents. I really wonder why. How often do I come home so late or should I say this early? Let me see. Not even once a month? Do I study? Well, have I duely completed all my projects? You guys know the answer. I know that my parents are still not fully supportive of me going to Poly. Hanging around people like my stupid aunty who looks down on Poly students and believing that I wasted 2 years of my life. Though my parents don't say it often, they will once in a while say things like I don't know why you are taking Mass Comm etc. Its weird that my sister does the things similar to me and gets away with it. She can stay out almost every night and come home after 2 or 3 am and still be ok. When she doesn't like to go to work, she'll take MC. My mum will nag a bit and thats about it. Me? She'll rattle on and on. Ok, my sis is always sucking up to my mum, maybe that;'s why, but sorry, I'm not that type. Don't like my attitude than I'm sorry. Its also amazing how my parents trust my sis. When ever I point out things about the media, they will say things like you study a bit and you think you know so much. But my sis who knows nuts about the media comments about it, my parents will agree with her. Why? Cos she's a graduate? Fuck lah. Can't help it that my parents are so restrictive with me. I know they love me but there's a limit to everything. All the time they have tried to make decisions for me. In secondary school I wanted to join soccer, my parents forbidded it big time and forced me to join library and table tennis. Soccer is my life and they are super against me participating in it. That's a very major reason why I don't have cable. I really regret not applying for it when I was in army. At least than I got an allowance that I could pay for it. At least that was money that I made. I'm surprised that I can actually survive so long watching so few matches a season. It has been ages since I last watch a Serie A or Primera Liga match. In JC was not match better too. Sometimes I wonder if I picked Science just to please my parents. Why? Cos it was the same combi as my sis, less F Maths. Wanted to join ODAC or tennis but my dad who knew my air rifle teacher told her that I'll be joining air rifle. Ok at least was lucky enough to be in the school team but still. I believe I could walk in to the tennis school team too. I agree that had they not controlled me in seconadary school, I may have turned out different but I believe it will only be a bit different. I know what I'm doing most of the time. The control I was under was suffocating. 10-15 minutes late from the usual time I'm home, my mum will ask me why I'm so late. It reach a point that I hardly step out of the house in Sec 3 and 4. I guess you people do not believe this but I did not watch a single movie those 2 years. What I did at home? Was in depression. All was in my mind was how to be a terrorist, methods of killing myself and other people. I formulated ways in prolongling the death of others and I will take great satisfaction in doing that. The thought of a person suffering or bleeding to death slowly fascinated me. My own death? It'll be quick. Thought of ways too. Luckily I managed to get out of that state in my 1st 3 months. Reason? Probably Him and friends. At times I wonder how much more I can take it. I force myself to think and look at the bright side. Whenever my parents restrict me or anything, I'll try to think off how much they actually care for me and that they just don't know that its suffocating me. Why don't I tell them? Its of no use. They'll just pass it off as I'm being a rebel. My dad's colleagues, friends and some of my relatives have also been trying to tell my parents how good I am, that they should be more relax with me and how much they wish their children are as disciplined like me but still they just go like ok but that's about it. Maybe all the long I should have been rebellious and do things without thinking than they'll get used to it and pass it off as that's me and be more relax with me. Maybe, just maybe.

Just watched Legionnaire. Taped it a couple of weeks back and finally watched it. It sucks. Storyline was weak etc. Didn't do the Foreign Legionnaire any justice. Anyone who knows who they are will have deep respect for them but the show did little to portray the courage and noblity of the course. The Legionnaire is an army started by the French. They abide by a very strict code of conuct and are fiercely loyal. They are something like Gurhkas. Anybody can join the Legionnaire, regardless of your nationality and background. When you are a Legionnaire you ar part of a great family. Only the toughest need apply. As a result some people view the Legionnaires as an army that scumbags join. The truth is that the Legionnaires are so disciplined that even normal armies cannot compare with them. They fight to the last man and are very unlikely to surrender. People who join them can be given a new identity thus a person is like almost reborn upon entering to be a Legionnaire. The most famous story was of an incident in 1863 when the Legionnaires where attacked by 2000+ men. Their orders was to stand ground and that was what they did. Being heavily outnumbered, the Legionnaires took heavy casualites and when they run out of ammo, they refused to surrender but fixed on bayonets and charged at the enemy. At most 10 Legionnaires survived that battle.

Was reading the letter people wrote about giving up the seats to pregnant women in Streats and was absolutely disgusted by the comments. It's really so sad to read fellow Singaporeans saying such things. Things like pregnant women are not sick so why must we speacially give up seats to them, sine some pregnent women are not grateful when people give up their seats, why should we give it up to them. All I can say is FUCK ALL OF YOU WHO THINK THAT WAY!! Maybe you have such terrible eyesight that you cannot see a sticker behind some seats, maybe you do not have a brian that can process the words or decipher the diagram, but yes, there is a sticker behind some seats with a diagram and that sticker tells you to give up the seats to those people who needs it more than you. Yes, pregnant women and senior citizens fall in that category. So do those handicap people. Wait maybe those people are handicap; mentally handicap!! A female writer, yes a FEMALE actually has the audacity to write that those pregnant women if want a seat should take a cab. She claims that she was pregnant before and understand how they feel and that she does not understand whats all the fuss about people not giving up their seats in all. My answer to that is that the writer should ehrself go take a cab. If you do not want follow SMRT's guidelines, than please, go take a cab yourself. The guideline is there and since you are the public nuisance, why make other people change for you. Afterall it is you who is the trouble. If she's really a mother than I think I can safely say that her children will be no better than her; meaning another generation that will lack in civil graces. Another writer actually wrote so distastefully. He mentioned something like there are people who are seriously engrossed inreading especially reading things like Streats. One writer also mentioned that if the pregnant women need the seats so badly, than they should ask for it. Again I really think that person cannot comprehen that sticker. I will feel so insulted that someone has to come up to me to tell me something that even a 5 year old should know.

Just came back from my cousin's wedding. Didn' know about it till this morning. I woke up and my mum told me that my cousin's wedding dinner was tonight and that I must attend it. I was like... huh?? I'm not that close to my paternal family. I bet that I walk down the streets and bump into my cousins, I'll still not recognise some of them. Another thing is that I do't like one of my aunty. She has a very sharp tougue and like to critise people or put them down. True enough, when I reached the hotel, the first few things she said to me was like "So how's school? Going back 2 years." I was gave a bo chap look. What the fuck!! I got absolutely no regrets going to Poly and all. I am very happy where I am. Am I slow by 2 years? Did I waste 2 years in JC? My answer is NO! I found religion and made solid friends there. Those are things that even money can't buy! Should I have gone overseas straight instead of going Poly? NO again. I'm enjoying my schooling life with all my friends big time. Maybe I should ask her daughter to spend a day with us and she'll wish she was in my position instead of NUS!!

Anyway back to my cousin. Think that his wife is dam lucky to have him for a husband. Among all my cousins, I dare say that he is going to be the best husband there is. He is very responsible and caring. An ideal family man. A person who will love and treasure his wife and family adnd will make any sacrifice for them. Yes, that's how highly I think of him. The rest of my cousins? Well, about half is Bengs and Lians. But there are a couple of older ones that I quite enjoy being with. Well they are already mothers but they are a real sensible lot and are both funny and encouraging. The ceremony was so sweet and nice but the guest is quite the opposite. When the couple was taking their vows, a huge number of them were happily chatting away and oblivious to the whole occasion. Ok the lousy sound system did not help much. More than once a handphone will just go off and the whole ballroom can hear the ringing. How to educate these people?? So inconsiderate. The food was so so. Some dishes were not that hot and not that fresh I fancy. But the service was really good. The waiters were very polite and well trained. Kudos to them. The night went on with the usual chat and my sister and I were just sitting there stoning. I could not help look at the video cameraman. Got to say that he really suck. He was not a professional and was using a normal video camera. Best part was that the ballroom was quite bright and he was still using the camera lighting. It was so obvious that the shots were going to be over exposed. I managed to see his view finder and I was right, the shots were quite over exposed and he still happily used the light. Sheesh. Better still, when he turned on the light, the light will be directly facing the people he wants to film so yea, those poor people will have a sudden burst of light into their eyes. He actually points the light to the ceiling to turn it off. I really wonder why. Shouldn't it be the opposite?? Could not help notice the table next to mine, making the bride drink down a cup of brandy. Should have seen her face, so contorted while drinking it. She was really forcing herself to drink it. Haha. mmediately after drinking it, she drank a cup of chinese tea. About 10 minutes later, her walking was a bit off. Was actually quite surprised that she could still stand up and thank the guest at the door after the whole dinner.

Was asked by the groom and my favourite cousin the same question. "So when's your turn? Coming soon?" They actually specially stopped and walked to me to ask me. My reply to the groom? "Hmm. Probably after your 1st child is in Primany 1." Well, wishing them a happy and blissful marriage. Something which I know for sure will be true.

I am so happy now! Juventus 3 Real Madrid 1! Juventus qualify 4-3 on aggregate. The stage is set. An all Italian final at Old Trafford.

It was almost a flawless match. The script was written to sheer perfection. In the 12th minute David Trezeguet was set up up Alessandro del Piero and he managed to squeeze the ball between Iker Casillas and the right post. 43rd minute, del Piero took on around 3 defenders and slotted home the ball to make it 2-0. In the 2nd half, Ronaldo breaks free and Paolo Montero accidently brings him down in the penalty box. Penalty! The former most expensive player, Luis Figo steps up. He kicks to his left and Gianluigi Buffon guesses right and parried the ball away. Sheer brilliance. 73rd mintue, Juve counters and Pavel Nedved is put through and he breaks free between 2 defenders and sweetly volleys past Casillas. 89th minute, of all the players in Real's side, it had to be former Juve darling Zinadine Zidane to take advantage of a lapse in Juve's concentration to make score 3-1. The whole stadium was silent as the crowd waited in anxiety for the 5 minutes of extra time to be over. Raul came so close in the last 20+ seconds but Juve hung on to ensure that they rightfully go to the finals.

The match was played with a perfect Italian flair. No other team in the world could have played the game to such perfection and so much passion. No matter what Real threw, Juve just absorbed and absorbed. Every sinagle Juve player did his job to absolute perfection. When 1 player is overtaken, another will be behind to clear. Buffon, Montero, Alessandro Birindelli, Lilian Thuram, Igor Tudor, Gianluca Zambrotta, Edgar Davids, Nedved, Alessio Tacchinardi, Trezeguet, del Piero, Gianluca Pessotto, Mauro Camoranesi and Antonio Conte, each one of them performed what was expected of them and it is very difficult to pick the man of the match. Was it Buffon? del Piero? Nedved? To me all of them are the man of the match.

Fate dealt its cruel blow during the match and Nedved was its victim. A player for whom the Champions League meant more than to anyone, a player who gave nothing less than 100% in every single game was yellow carded for a seemingly harmless challenge. It meant that he will not be playing in the final. Upon being shown the card, Nedved was totally stunned and could not believe it. It seems like his worst nightmare had come true. If there was any player who deserves to be in the final its definitely him. If only 1 man will be in the final, it will also be him. He is without doubt the most committed player this Champions League. When the final whistle went, tears started flowing from Nedved's eyes. His greatest dream and wish had just vinish right before his very eyes. I know for sure that he is willing to do just about everything just to play in the final and win it. That was his greatest dream and the reason why he plays.

Another incident that left me fuming was how despicable Guti was. He fell over while trying to challenge Thuram and he immediately grabbed his face and started rolling around. Thuram who was in an excellent position to cross for Juve at this counter attack hesitated for a while. Though he had a superb chance to help his team get a goal, he sportingly kicked the ball out to allow Guti to be treated. The moment he kicked the ball out, Guti picked himself up and seemed perfectly fine. It lead to a heated exchange of words and left every single person who was watching and playing disgusted. But justice prevailed and Juve is true to the final.

Just got back from Sentosa. Had a superbly wonderful and fun time. Met Joy, Brian, Poh Ling, Yah Yah, Keng, Melly and Liyana at Tiong Bahru MRT station and we had brunch at Tiong Bahru Plaza. After that we proceeded down to Sunset Bay for beach volleyball and canoeing. Ok we were no Leila Barros or Eric Fonoimoana but we still had a really fun time playing or at times attempting to play. Haha. After canoeing, Brian, Poh Ling, Yah Yah and I swam to our "secret island" to just sit down and talk. Looked at the wonderful scenery from there. Whikle on shore, Joy was teaching Melly how to play pool or should I say she was hustling Melly. Than Joy, Melly, Yah Yah and I rented bikes to cycle round the island. Man, it was damn hard especially upslope on sucky bikes; either bad brakes, spolit gear or both. Went to the ferry terminal to have ice cream!! When we went back, Joy, Bernard and I continued to play soccer while Brian, Poh Ling an Keng went to play with water I think. While the 3 of us were playing, these 4 people, 2 guys and 2 girls asked us if they could join us. Soon another couple and Brian joined us and we really enjoyed playing that game. Had some long rallies. Played beach soccer with the 4 people after that with Joy, Bernard and Poh Ling. Enjoyed the game tremendously though think I may have kicked the ball a bit high at times. The ball was damn light. Think Poh Ling and 1of the girls was not that bad at soccer. Not of Mia Hamm or Tiffeny Milbrett standard but not that bad. Who am I to say any way, not as if we were del Piero or Nedved. Haha, but it was a fun and quite memorable game and I learnt that my stamina is super low. Not that I didn't know but it confirmed the fact. Went to bathe and we left the island life to get back to reality. Went back Tiong Bahru Plaza for dinner then went to see Rue who is working at Deli France there. Keng and I felt that Rue might lose her job cos so many of us went in just to see her and made no purchases. Called it a day there. Now I'm home, think we must definitely go abck again 1 of these days and hopefully soon! Thanks guys for such a wonderful time.

Class chalet. Supposed to collect $30 from those there today but none paid. Nevermind, think maybe we will book it 1st and than collect $30 from those who said they are going. So fuck, even if you all said you all are going but don't turn up. You all must still PAY!! Think its only fair that way.

Hope to be able to stay up to watch the match. What I think willbe the score? Juventus 3 Real Madrid 1. Yes I know its a bias view but I really hope Juve will win. Heck, they are already in my eyes the champions!

Ok, its another of my soccer stuff entry. Hey, those who don't like it bear with it k. Its the nearing the end of the season lah. =)

As wine ages with time, some soccer players have also been playing great soccer after their supposed expiry date. Was quite inspired to name the players whom I feel have defied history this season and have been playing some real vintage football. Strutting stuff that well even put players 1/3 younger to shame. Only those above 33 need apply.

Goalkeeper:
Peter Schmeichel - 39 (Manchester City)
The Great Dane himself. Still so very capable of playing top level football even at aripe age of 39. Been so intimidating between the post that his mere presence will make even the best of strikers shiver. A nighmare to both his defenders and opposite strikers. Its real sad to see him retire at the end of this season. He played so well and he ended his trophy filled career with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Southampton. Obviously the Saints did not read the script before taking on the field. His wonder save against Liverpool made them wonder what it takes it to get past his and us wonder why in the world did he even choose to retire.

Defence:
Ronny Johnsen - 33 (Aston Villa)
Another playing who played his trade at Manchester United before making his move to Villa Park. Manchester United should really be kicking themselves for retaining Lauren Blanc instead of this Norwegian. Unlike the latter, Johnsen has far greater pace and is able to read the game much better. Played an intsrumental part of Villa's defence. Helping Peter Enckelman time and again from making a fool of himself. When Johnsen isn't there, the clown emerges, allowing some hollowers that even a 7 year old will not concede.

Lucas Radebe - 34 (Leeds)
The South African is probably one of the reasons why Leeds will still be playing in the EPL next season. Ok unlike Johnsen, Radebe is very much lucklier to have a great goalkeeper in the form of Paul Robinson. But still, he has ensured that Robinson can have an easier time. A great captain.

Marcel Desailly - 34 (Chelsea)
Another captain who leads by example. His last game for France has made him the most capped player, surpassing old time friend Didler Deschamps. No intention of retiring and is determined to help France defend its European Cup next year at Portugal. Scored the equalisier for Chelsea against Liverpool last weekend thus ensuring Chelsea Champions League football next season.

Gudni Bergsson - 37 (Bolton)
Just played his last game ever for Bolton. Will be retiring but not without putting on superb displays for Bolton and ensuring that Bolton survives in the EPL. A very committed player and Bolton will surely miss his services. Though he has got very little experience playing top flight football, he none the less showed that he is more than capable to do so.

Gary Speed - 33 (Newcastle)
Newcastle and Wales dream season has been possible with this guy playing football that makes one wish he is only 23 and not 33. Able to take on defence and inspire his team. Will be interesting to see how he is going to cope with Champions League football next season and I have a feeling that he will not disappoint.

Ali Bernabia - 34 (Manchester City)
This captain has been pivitol in Manchester City equalling its best EPL finish ever. Along with Schmeichel and Nicolas Anelka, this trio has ensured that City fans had little to worry about them ending up in the 1st Division next season. Kevin Keegan will be mad to let this bloke retire.

Gustavo Poyet - 35 (Tottenham Hotspur)
One of the best Sad Spurs player this season. This 35 year old has been doing almost everything he can to help Spurs. Be it delivering tackles or setting his strikers free. Unfortuantely was sent off in Spurs final match against Blackburn. Had be been on the field, it will be quite hard to see Spurs lose 4-0.

Attackers:
Paolo Di Canio -34 (West Ham)
One of the most volatile players to ever grace the EPL. Has a talent that no one will even dare to doubt and on his day, is definitely more than capable of single handedly beating any team in the EPL. Yes, that includes the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal. Should have been a Red Devil if not for the stubborn Dwight Yorke who refuses to believe that his time at Manchester United is over. Will be remembered for pushing over a referee some seasons ago and his sportsmanship against Everton a season later. When Everton's goalkeeper Paul Gerrard fell and injuried himself, Di Canio was left with an open net in his mercy, instead of scoring the goal, he caught hold of the ball so that Gerrard could seek medical treatment. Was blamed by some factions for manager Glenn Roeder's stroke, but is none the less the fans darling. Will most likely leave Upton Park this season following West Ham's relegation. Scored the winner after coming on as a subsitute against Chelsea thus ensuring that the relegation fight will continue to the EPL's final week. Cried after that match. Scored West Ham's last goal of the season last weekend.

Youri Djorkaeff - 35 (Bolton)
If France has got more players like Djorkaeff, they will probably not had crashed out of the World Cup in the 1st round. Has set the EPL on fire this season. Been so instrumental in ensuring Bolton's EPL survival. True top grade wine.

Gianfranco Zola - 36 (Chelsea)
The little Italian as he is so lovingly know by the Blue faithfuls. A player who came to fame while playing for Napoli. Was Maradona's replacement and he had little trouble filling the gigantic boots. In my opinion as I have said before, the greatest foreign player ever to grace the EPL, even better than Eric Cantona. A true role model on and off the pitch. Knows that he had to train twice as hard as anyone else just to continue playing in the EPL and he did just that. The result? A breathtaking display that puts every single person in EPL to shame. His deft touches and ball control has made him a nightmare for any opponents and a sure delight to watch. A free kick specialist too. His reward? Champions Leaue football. Ken Bates ought to be shot if he does not offer Zola a contract that he truely deserve. A deal of Chelsea's Champions League success will rest heavily on this Italian's shoulder and I am confident that he will not disappoint. Expect him to awe of us next season.

O yah. Disappointed that Sven-Goran Eriksson picked Sad James over Richard Wright. Also feel that he should let Wayne Rooney rest and not tire this gem. Long term gain for a short term loss. Hoping that AC Milan will win tomorrow morning.

Was in school today for the speech extra lessons. Was quite fun and interesting. Than had lunch at Canteen 1 with Joy, Yah Yah, Winston, Alicia, Charlene and Shawn. Later J Lo joined us. Ok, one person is missing but I can't recall who!! Arghz. Really having STM now!! But really had a very funny lunch. Lots of laugh. After that Joy and I joined Brian to meet Ms Chandra to get our final speech grades. While Ms Chandra was talking to us, I could see tears building up at the corner of her eyes. Her tone of voice was not really her usual self and I could feel that she was like fighting back tears. She was saying that her experience in NP was an eye opener and that she was thankful for the chance (not the exact words but along that line). Then the 3 of us went to jog and the gym. Ok, I really got no stamina, nearly died jogging just 2 rounds!! Was thinking when I was in Cj, I could easily finish my 2.4 in around 12 minutes. Look at me now!! Think 12 minutes can at most finish 4 rounds! Really sad about it. Went to Mambo Billiards to play pool with Joy after gym. Had a torrid game, missed quite a few sitters. Shall not take away any credit from Joy she played quite well and won the first 2 frames. Was really really lucky to win the next 2. Nevermind. Guess got to lose weight, work out and improve in my pool this hols. Just 3 things I hope to do among the many. Sigh.

Ok, I got 1 question. There's this album sung by nurses to raise money for the Singapore Nurse Association (SNA). The record company says that the main song 'Love' was written by a member of Expose. The album retails at $15.90, of which $2 goes to SNA to help the nurses affected by SARS. My question is where does the remaining $13.90 go?? It really seems to me like they are exploiting the situation and making use of the nurses!! Well I dunno. Maybe got to see if tomorrow's papers will cover it. Really want to know where the remaining money goes to.

So anyone else ok with the chalet at East Coast? If more people are ok with it than we can book it.

02/03 season of the EPL has come to a close. There was no fight to end for the championship but a fight between Chelsea and Liverpool for the last Champions League spot, Everton and Blackburn for a UEFA Cup spot and Bolton and West Ham for a survival spot in the EPL. The verdict?

Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-1 at Stamford Bridge (Chelsea's home) thus ensuring its passage to Europe's elite Cup competition. Better still is that we should be seeing Gianfranco Zola playing for at least another season. He is, in my opinion the best foreigner ever to grace the EPL in the past decade. At almost 37 years of age, he has shown a level of discipline and skill that will even put players 20 years younger to shame.

Everton lost 1-2 at home to Manchester United and with Blackburn thrashing Sad Spurs 4-0 away, Blackburn will be playing in Europe next season. Really pity Everton, they have done a real great job this season, from their yearly relegation fight to fighting for European place. Kudos to David Moyes for his management skills. Hope that this season is no fluke and that they will play just as well next season. The finish 7th place, a place West ham occupied last season. Hope its not an omen. Blackburn did pretty well this season and guess what? Andy Cole actually managed to score!! He said that this season was a bad year for him for he only scored 6 (7 after this game). Well, actually I expected less. You cannot expect goals to flow from him the way he did at Manchester United. Look at the number of chances created for him than. Though he may had scored quite a few goals when he was at Old Trafford, I feel that in terms of shots to goal ratio, his will be very low. Manchester United is one of a kind, how many teams in the world can create 20+ chances in a game and score just 1 or 2? With Ruud van Nistelrooy scoring from the spot, he is takes the Golden Boot.

Bolton 2 Middlesbrough 1 and Birmingham 2 West Ham 2. A game that West Ham had to win and hope that Bolton draws or lose; the outcome is that West Ham will go down. Sad James must be really sad now. West Ham torrid start to the season virtually killed its hopes, but it fought really bravely to push their destiny right to the end. They become the 1st team in EPL history to be relegated with more than 40 points. But I guess fate has been cruel with West Ham, 1st Glen Roeder and Paolo Di Canio fell out then Roeder suffers a stroke after a finally winning a match, then Di Canio scored the winning goal against Chelsea last weekend and today, he scored the 2nd and last goal for West Ham. West Ham's last goal in the Premiership, at least for this season. Another veteran Les Ferdinand scored the 1st West Ham goal. The two goalscorers have a combined age of around 75 years.

Other note worthy points:
- Southampton's James Beattie scoring 23 goals (he does not have the luxury of having that many people setting up for him)
- Sunderland are the worst team in EPL history, taking only 19 points out of a possible 114
- Manchester City played its last game at Maine Road, a ground that has lots of fond memories
