Was quite impressed by Real Madrid's Iker Casillas and Roberto Carlos during Real's match against Recreativo Huelva. What happened was that Casillas was racing out for a ball and he caught Recreativo's Alsocer Raul Molina in the chest. Molina fell down and was rolling in pain and guess who were the first people to go to his aid? Nope it wasn't the Recreativo players but Casillas and Carlos. Casillas being the closest to Molina came to his aid and within seconds Carlos was there. As Molina was still clutching his chest and unable to lie on the ground due to the pain, Casillas immediately lay flat down behind Molina so that Molina could lean back with some support. Man, that's true sportsmanship and the mad game everyone calls soccer.

Was reading Sunday Life today and found the article on the last page as very meaningful. The article about the true meaning of Mothers Day. It mentioned about how commercialism has overtaken the true meaning of Mothers Day and how disappointed the lady credited to the start of Mothers Day was and will be with the way Mothers Day turned out; how a simple girl's wish for a the than President of US to have the 2nd Sunday of May slated to honour all mothers evolved into a day for commercial. The writers wrote in a very simple but heartfelt manner. Kind of reminds me of Christmas. Still remember walking down Orchard Road last with my friend and how disappointed we were to see how commercial Christmas was. I mean we both accepted the fact that Christmas was already very commercialised, but last year's walk was like the worst. There we had rowdy fuck wits pissing off strangers by spraying confetti on everyone within their radius. The Spirit of Christmas was either not there or over shadowed by such childish acts. I seriously hope that these people do not go round telling their friends that they really enjoy celebrating Christmas. If that is how you deem the celebration of Christmas, than I seriously pity your pathetic existence in this world. It applies to Mothers and Fathers Day too. How many people actually ignore their parents throughout the year and be nice to them just on Mothers and Fathers Day? Sad to say but I believe the number is quite large. If you really are a true believer of Mothers and Fathers Day than everyday is Mothers and Fathers Day. And if the moment the notion that it would be very expensive to think that way, than I think maybe you should think over your pathetic existence you have lead over the years.

What can I say? Juventus 2 Perugia 2 and Juve are the champions!! Scudetto number 27. Happy sia!
Just came back from watching X-2. Yes finally. Was good and realise that Phoenix had already made its appearance. If you look in the water at the last shot, the image of Phoenix was under the surface. And Beast is also out, just that he wasn't his blue self. He was still the human Dr Hank McCoy. He was being interviewed on TV while the guard was at the bar. The scene where Mystic seduced him. Wow. That means only Gambit has yet to appear (as in of the 7 X-Men that most people know). Can't wait for the third instalment!!

Was watching World Today on CNA and I really wonder what constitutes news. There mentioned on this morning's edition that there are now 2 strains of SARS. Ok but that was reported like about a week ago? I read it sometime last week about that on an online newspaper. So what took them so long to report it?? Its really an example of the media interpreting for us. Sheesh.
And ST has yet to reply me on those racist post on STChat!! Those post have also yet to be taken off the chat!!

Okay. Just read my NPmail. Quite stunned that Cordelia was going to hold two extra classes for Speech Com next week. I should be going but I am really surprised by her move.
Just came back not long ago after watching Talk To Her. It was quite a good show, worthy of the Film Fest screening. It was about these two men who's lives hovered around these two girls. One of the girl was a ballet student and the other a bull fighter. Both girls ended up in a coma, the ballet student met with an accident and the bull fighter was gored by a bull. They were looked after by a man each; the ballet student by a male nurse and the bull fighter a lover. Man. Really find it quite hard to explain the show. The story was all about overcoming obstacles, obsession, emotions, friendship and betrayal. At the end, the male nurse was sent to jail for raping the ballet student while she was in coma. He was exposed when she got pregnant. While in jail, he so badly wanted to be with her and he decided that the only way he could be with her was that goes into a coma too. So he takes an overdose but died. In most shows and situation, I will definitely condemn the male nurse, but as you watch his character unfold, he begin to pity him and feel for him. No he is not some typical rapist and pervert. He is in fact a very homely and innocent person. He really loved the girl so much so that he became very obsessed over her. The ironic part was that it was the rape that actually made the girl wake up from 4 years of coma, but the male nurse never knew that fact as by that timehe was already in jail. What about the other man? He formed a very close friendship with the male nurse during the time the bull fighter was in coma and at the hospital. He stayed with the bullfighter night and day during the time in the hospital and that made his friendship with the male nurse grow. He left the hospital after finding out that before the bull fighter was injured, she had not forgotten her former lover (he only knew after he met her former lover). He left Spain to escape all the pain of losing her and was in Jordan that he found out that the bull fighter did not managed to pull through. He came back to Spain after that to help the male nurse in his case. It was than that he found out that the ballet student had woken, but the lawyer adviced him against telling the male nurse that so as to aid in the case. He followed the lawyer's advice but it was that lie that resulted in the male nurse death. The man confessed with so much guilt in front of the male nurse tomb. Finally the show ended with the man going to watch a performance and he met the ballet dancer there. Symbolically, she sat one seat behind him with the seat between them empty.
